Hey there, I’m Valerie Hansel—licensed esthetician, skin health educator, and the owner of V’s Skin Studio in Appleton, WI. My journey into skincare started with my own struggles with acne. In early adulthood, I sought out medical treatments, but no one ever explained why my skin was breaking out or how to take care of it properly. That frustration led me to aesthetics, and I’ve spent years diving deep into skin science, advanced treatments, and holistic care to help others avoid the confusion I once faced.
I opened V’s Skin Studio in 2019 with a mission: to provide results-driven skincare while making sure my clients feel validated, supported, and truly cared for. My approach is educational yet approachable—I believe skincare isn’t common knowledge, and I’m here to help you understand your skin, whether you’re battling acne, navigating aging, or simply looking for that glow.
At V’s, we don’t do cookie-cutter treatments. Every facial is customized to what your skin truly needs. I specialize in acne-focused skincare, advanced facial treatments, and Brazilian waxing with a strong focus on ingrown hair prevention and treatment. I also have a passion for bringing over-tweezed brows back to life—because yes, we can rehab them!
